This is a year to get loud. Get innovative. Challenge abuses of power. And celebrate the strength of your communities.
In 2026, there are seven major astrological shifts that will reshape your life — and the world — for decades to come. There’s no avoiding these changes, so bring your curiosity, boldness, and strategic genius to the party. We can get a lot more done together than we can alone.
Let’s get into it.

1. Neptune re-enters Aries
- Neptune in Aries: January 26th, 2026 – May 21st, 2038
Neptune — the planet of illusions, delusions, imagination, and spirituality — first dipped into bold Aries on March 30th, 2025, and then retrograded back into dreamy Pisces on October 22nd. Once it re-enters the sign of the ram on January 26th, 2026, it’ll stay there until 2038/2039. Neptune spends approximately 14 years in each sign, so this transition marks a generational shift. With the planet of ideals in this assertive, Mars-ruled sign, it’s not enough to envision our best-case scenarios. We have to take real action to make change happen. Just note that Neptune can blur the lines between fact and fiction. So you’ll need to work extra hard to resist the lure of propaganda. Those who use force to get ahead aren’t the ones to follow — and they’re not as powerful as they pretend to be.
Neptune is also the planet of faith, which means it teaches us that we can’t always know how things will turn out. Don’t wait to start fighting for the just, caring society you want to live in. As long as you lead with compassion, you can’t go wrong.

2. Saturn re-enters Aries
- Saturn in Aries: February 13th, 2026 – April 12th, 2028
Saturn also re-enters Aries this year. The planet of discipline, structure, and limits first entered the cardinal fire sign on May 24th, 2025, and retrograded back into Pisces on September 1st. When it returns to Aries on February 13th, 2026, it’ll remain there until April 12th, 2028. Steady, diligent Saturn is in its fall in this impulsive sign, meaning it struggles in this placement. But just as friction often pushes us to grow, this transit will teach us how to handle competitiveness and aggression skillfully. If we want to build something of lasting value, we have to be patient. Saturn is known for giving tough love and reality checks, but it will also provide supportive guardrails for Neptune’s wild dreaming. It’s not always easy to be imaginative and practical at the same time, but this combo can help us find a middle ground. Along the way, we might just learn how to take down a broligarch or two.

3. Uranus re-enters Gemini
- Uranus in Gemini: April 25th, 2026 – August 3rd, 2032
Uranus — the planet of disruption — briefly visited Gemini from July 7th to November 7th, 2025, before retrograding back into Taurus. When it re-enters chatty, Mercury-ruled Gemini on April 25th, 2026, it’ll continue stirring up trouble there until 2032/2033.
The beginning of 2026 is about closing out the Uranus in Taurus era. Take stock of what’s changed for you since Uranus first entered the fixed earth sign in 2018. Once the planetary rebel is in curious Gemini for the long haul, we’ll be in a period of major innovation in social media, journalism, television, and publishing. In other words, mass communication will be getting a chaotic makeover over the coming years. Expect many WTF and OMG moments. Radical messages will also spread farther and faster than usual, so figure out how you can wield your words to advocate for the causes you believe in. If that requires breaking some rules, sparking some controversy, or naming the elephant in the room, so be it. Telling the truth isn’t meant to be smooth sailing. It’s supposed to be challenging — and energizing. So dare to fight back against those who try to ban books, suppress the news, or distort the facts. They say the pen is mightier than the sword — and Uranus in Gemini will ask us to put that notion to the test. It’s time to make your most r/evolutionary ideas go viral.

4. Chiron enters Taurus
- Chiron in Taurus: June 19th – September 17th, 2026
Chiron — the minor planet associated with healing and teaching — departs fiery Aries and enters grounded Taurus on June 19th, 2026. Chiron shows us where we’re wounded, but also how we can learn from our wounds. Facing our sore spots and processing our hurt feelings can be uncomfortable, but we gain valuable wisdom in the process.
When Chiron is in the fixed earth sign, we can expect to work through problems related to stability, money, food, art, reproductive rights, or the natural world. This transit invites you to get curious about any doubt, fear, or stubbornness that these issues bring up. You can’t transform what you aren’t willing to face — but luckily, you don’t have to do it all alone. Chiron is a mentor, so this might be your moment to seek out the teachers, therapists, coaches, elders, or wise friends who have already dealt with similar issues and can offer their insights. When Chiron retrogrades back into Aries on September 17th, you’ll enter a final round of facing any fears that block you from fighting for what you believe in. By the time Chiron re-enters Taurus on April 14th, 2027, you’ll have an unbreakable connection to your independence, creative expression, and self-knowledge.

5. Jupiter enters Leo
- Jupiter in Leo: June 29th, 2026 – July 25th, 2027
Get ready to live large. Jupiter — the planet of wisdom and abundance — has been passing through caring, sensitive Cancer since June 9th, 2025. When the planetary teacher enters showstopping Leo on June 29th, 2026, it gives up being cozy and sentimental for bolder, more dramatic self-expression.
Whatever Jupiter touches gets bigger, and when it’s in the fixed fire sign, that means our creativity, playfulness, and main character energy go through the roof. This combo can bring up issues related to egotism or attention-seeking — but also boost our generosity. The proud lion of the zodiac is known for doing things on a grand scale, and that includes giving everything it’s got.
This transit is a once-in-12-year opportunity to heal any fears or insecurities that keep you from taking center stage. The more you showcase your gifts, the luckier you’ll become, so don’t hold back. But notice any sneaky competitiveness that flares up when other folks get their flowers. As Jupiter in Leo knows, there’s more than enough room for everyone to share the spotlight. The more applause, the merrier.

6. The lunar nodes enter Leo and Aquarius and shake up this year’s eclipses
- The lunar nodes in Leo and Aquarius: July 26th, 2026 – March 26th, 2028
- Solar eclipse near the North Node in Aquarius: February 17th, 2026
- Lunar eclipse near the South Node in Virgo: March 3rd, 2026
- Solar eclipse near the South Node in Leo: August 12th, 2026
- Lunar eclipse near the North Node in Pisces: August 27th, 2026
On July 26th, 2026, the North Node flips into visionary Aquarius and the South Node into expressive Leo. The North Node signifies hunger and increase, and the South Node — which always appears in the opposite sign — represents catharsis and release. The lunar nodes are the two points where the Moon’s orbit around Earth intersects with the ecliptic — and where eclipses happen.
Eclipses spark shake-ups, surprises, and plot twists. The first of this series of Aquarius eclipses near the North Node will take place on February 17th, planting the seeds for this 18-month round of growth spurts. Notice what kind of momentum picks up around this date, and stay alert to any fresh opportunities that excite you. This is a potent moment to change the direction of any research or activism work you’re doing, so be flexible. But also remember that eclipses can easily burn you out. Lie low if you’re getting overwhelmed. There’s no rush to absorb the intel this eclipse has to offer.
Then on August 12th, the first Leo eclipse near the South Node highlights the limiting habits we’re ready to drop, including any self-centered — or self-effacing — tendencies. When do you find yourself hogging the mic, and when could you be a little bolder with your creativity? Striking a balance between graciousness and confidence is key, and getting it wrong before you get it right is just part of the process. Give yourself plenty of compassion while you figure it out.
2026 also features the next-to-last South Node eclipse in perfectionistic Virgo on March 3rd, continuing a series of lessons on healing our self-critical tendencies. Don’t push yourself, though — the more you rest, the better you’ll understand what you’re learning about these topics and let go of whatever’s still holding you back. Then comes the last North Node Pisces eclipse we’ll experience for a while. On August 27th, this lunation brings us one more reality check to challenge our escapist or delulu patterns. Ask yourself where you’re being impractical and where you can strengthen your boundaries. Moving forward, you’ll have an easier time living openheartedly without losing yourself in the process.

7. Venus retrogrades through Scorpio and Libra
- Venus retrograde in Scorpio and Libra: October 3rd – November 13th, 2026
Venus — the planet of love and beauty — goes retrograde once every 18 months, kickstarting a roughly 40-day review of these themes in our lives. On October 3rd, 2026, Venus begins its underworld journey through deep, intense Scorpio and social, strategic Libra, nudging us to reassess how we navigate imbalances and challenging power dynamics in our relationships.
When Venus is retrograde in Scorpio from October 3rd to October 25th, unconscious shadow material will rise to the surface and ask to be dealt with. But there’s no need to fear any skeletons in the closet. Difficult feelings like jealousy, rage, and grief have to be fully witnessed and acknowledged before we can loosen their grip on us. Get to the core of what you want and need to feel more secure in your bonds. If you seem to be unusually distrustful during these weeks, be as upfront as possible with the people you care about. And pay extra attention to the clarifying Venus cazimi on October 23rd, which highlights this retrograde’s key lessons for you.
When Venus slides back into tactful Libra on October 25th, it’s time to confront your codependent or people-pleasing tendencies. Ask yourself whether you prioritize peacekeeping over being open and honest. This is a powerful moment to examine any inequities in either your one-on-one connections or the world at large. The cardinal air sign is driven to advocate for justice, so do what you can to amend what’s unfair.
This is also a potent period for editing your creative work, dreaming up new passion projects, or brainstorming ways to reinvent your personal style. But don’t rush to make any big, dramatic moves. Consider waiting to book that tattoo appointment until Venus stations direct on November 13th.
