You don’t get any wiser when everyone agrees with you. You grow through questioning your own ideas. So express your fiery opinions a little more boldly. Challenge what your teachers tell you, debate the trolls in the comments section, and argue in your head with the author of every book you read. Pushing back doesn’t have to be aggressive. When handled with care, it’s actually a form of respect. Just stay open to changing your mind. You learn much more when you’re willing to play the fool.
